Summary Financial Analyst I | Treasury Operations What your day would be like:

Facilitates daily treasury operations functions such as setting the company’s cash position, providing accurate cash reporting, and ensuring the company’s daily liquidity needs are met.

Produces reports for various departments and assists with other treasury-related functions and project initiatives.

Employees in Flex roles are required to reside in Arizona (or NM for Four Corners-based employees). Role types are subject to change based on business need.

Minimum Requirements Financial Analyst I | Treasury Operations

Degree in finance, accounting economics, mathematics or related field.

In lieu of degree, an equivalent combination of formal education and related job experience totaling four (4) years is required.

Basic knowledge of finance or economic analysis;

Generally Accepted Accounting Principles, (GAAP),

Effective verbal and written communication skills, strong research, problem solving, time management and organizational abilities.

Proficient in MS Excel. Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Special Skill, Knowledge, or Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or business administration, Certified Treasury Professional (CTP) or Master of Business Administration (MBA). Strong organizational, analytical, mathematical, interpersonal, teamwork, and communication skills.

Major Accountabilities

Monitor and analyze the company's daily cash position to cover cash commitments and coordinate/optimize short-term borrowing or investments, and execute the daily cash management duties

Analyze and interpret financial data

Assist with treasury related projects and initiatives

Initiate, review, and approve wire, ACH and interbank transfers

Create daily and monthly reports related to treasury operations

Assist other departments with month-end requests and ad-hoc information requests

Monitor and analyze bank fee related to the operating bank accounts

Prepare and monitor essential company payments for processing

Process automation and operational efficiency improvements

Maintain cash management software

Flex Role:This position is not required to be performed at a specific APS facility as long as adequate technology and a solid ergonomic set up are present. Pending agreement with leadership, employees hired into this role will be able to choose where they prefer to perform their work, but the ultimate decision is the company's. APS office based: The employee prefers to work most of the time from an APS facility.

Home based: The employee prefers to work most of the time from his/her home.
